Every sport brings some risks, but it’s definitely safe to surf in Bali. The water is warm and we have plenty of different spots. Beach breaks, semi-beach break, reef breaks.
I would personally say that Bali is one of the best places to learn how to surf. We have great beginner spots, where it is perfect to teach you how to surf and help you ride your first waves.
This depends on your surflevel. I you have never surfed before, you will start with a soft top board. (A soft top surfboard is made of soft, pliable foam and is just as it’s name describes – a surfboard with a soft deck top. Soft Top Surfboards are great surfboards for beginners or people learning to surf. The soft deck top allows for a more comfortable paddle and is also very forgiving with dents and dings when learning to surf.
Yes, off course I can pick you up and drop you off at the Hotel or place where you staying. Price varies if by bike or car. (See price list)
The fitter the better! We recommend you to prepare yourself for the surf course with swimming for the stamina and 20 “burpees” per day for the power to pop up on the surfboard.
Maximum 2 guest with 1 guide. If you are more than 2 persons to book a lesson, I will organize extra surf guides
No, usually one surfsession will take 2 – 2.5hrs.
Of course you can bring your own surfboard if you like. You can also rent one of our boards what ever shape and size you prefer, we got them all.
No, but there are possibilities to rent SUP at the beaches.

Any season is good to surf in Bali due to the consistency of the swell. There are differences in the size of the waves during the year and depending on the spot. Irrespective of your surfing level, we will find the right waves for you!
Note that for the very beginners, we will start lessons in the white wash waves close to the shore until you know how to get up.
There is no real age limit (min/max). I already had children surfing with me (5–6 years).
I take the little ones together with me on one big board and we do tandem surf. You can learn surfing at any age.
We will teach in English or Bahsa (Balinese).
This depends on your level. We have different surf spots, for different kind of levels.
You can bring your kids/ friends to the surf spot, but I will only focus on you, my guests. If you are going with your friends/family to watch them and there is still room in the car, yes of course you can come along. If you just want to drive to surf spots to see different places and see other people surf, then I will charge you a price for the driving and petrol.
No food is included during the trips.
In general we prefer the payment in local currency IDR. The payment method we can discuss depending on the number of surf sessions.
Until 24 hours before the surf session you cancel with no cancellation fee.
After 24 hours there is a cancellation fee of 50%
